Join us

We are always glad to hear from people who want to work on hybrid quantum devices. The best first step is always the same: send me an email at gmazur@ucsb.edu, ideally with a short note about your background and what draws you to our research.

Undergraduate students at UCSB

We welcome applications from UCSB undergraduates interested in gaining hands-on research experience in nanofabrication, low-temperature measurement, or quantum device physics. If you are curious about joining the lab — whether for a quarter, a summer, or a senior thesis — please reach out directly by email.

Prospective graduate students

Graduate students join the group through the UCSB Materials Science graduate program. If you are interested in our research, please apply to the program and mention our group in your application. Feel free to email me with any questions, but note that formal admission decisions are made by the department, not by individual faculty.

Postdoctoral researchers

Postdocs are encouraged to reach out directly. Please send me an email with your CV, a brief description of your research interests, and how you see them connecting to the group's work.
